The Oregonian reports that conservative talk-radio is not being helpful to the GOP cause. A little background... every day the parties can get a data dump from the various county election boards revealing the names of people who have submitted their ballots. When the parties compare those names to the folks that are on a their list to get out to vote, they can cross those that have voted off. The parties can then focus their limited... and rapidly draining... resources on the smaller numbers remaining.

Problem. When "genius" Lars Larson bellows to his fellow conservatives to not cast their votes until the "very last minute," he doees a huge disservice for the larger GOTV effort. By suggesting baseless conspiracy theories that opening ballots recieved prior to November 2nd somehow leads to voter fraud, he costs the Oregon Republican Party the economy of scale I just described.

To that I say... GO LARS GO!!
